Race a kart built from a band instrument through 18 musical tracks in six cups, from the sunset streets of Brass City to the Brick Oven Kitchen, while the band's music builds as you race.

How to play

Turbo Tempo Racing plays in landscape. Turn your device sideways.

• GAS: hold the green GAS button. Let go to slow down.
• Steer: tap and hold the ◀ ▶ buttons with your other thumb.
• Flips and specials: these happen automatically. Your kart flips off jumps, and it fires its instrument special when the meter fills.
• Left-handed? In ⚙ Settings, choose which thumb the GAS button goes on.
• Keyboard (iPad): ↑/W gas, ↓/S brake, ←/→ or A/D steer, Shift to drift, Space for your special or a flip.
• ❓ How to Play on the main menu shows the controls at any time. Tap ❚❚ during a race to pause, restart or quit.

Cups and unlocking

The Brass Cup is open from the start. Finish a cup on the podium (top 3) at any difficulty to unlock the next one, all the way to the Grand Finale. Pick Rehearsal, Concert or Virtuoso difficulty. ⏱ Time Trial lets you race alone against the clock and your own ghost lap, and the 🏆 Trophy Room keeps your trophies and best times.

Saving

Your unlocked cups, trophies, best times, ghost laps, name and settings are saved automatically on your device.

Saves stay on the device they were made on. They are not synced between devices, and deleting the app deletes them. You can clear your records with ↺ Reset in the Trophy Room.

No sound?

• Turn up the volume, and check that your device is not in Silent mode (the Ring/Silent switch or Action button).
• Open ⚙ Settings and check that the Music and Sound effects sliders are turned up.
• If sound stops after a phone call or after switching apps, close and reopen the app.

Running slowly or getting warm?

In ⚙ Settings, set Graphics to 🔋 Battery Saver.
